Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a position in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a Level II Trauma center. The ideal candidate will work closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to critically ill children.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IV starts and blood draws.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including intensivists and respiratory therapists.
• Assist in procedures such as TPT placements.
• Educate and support families regarding patient care and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PICU RN experience.
• BLS & PALS certifications are required; additional certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is a plus.
• APHON Pediatric Teaching Hospital Experience is advantageous.
