Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours from 07:00 to 15:30. On-call required with an expectation of 8-10 call shifts per month, including weekend coverage.

Job Description

The Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a pediatric catheterization laboratory. This role requires experience in a Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab, with a preference for EP experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric catheterization procedures, including R/L biopsy, balloon, stent, valve placement, and potentially interventional radiology procedures.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care for congenital heart patients and transplant cases.
• Maintain competency in the latest catheterization technology and techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• National certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS (from AHA), and CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred; however, ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) is also acceptable.
• Active South Carolina RN license preferred; candidates with a pending license will be considered if proof of application is provided.
