Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse

Days, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with floating and call required.

Job Description

The Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse will provide general medical-surgical nursing care in an inpatient setting, with occasional care for non-critical pediatric patients. The role involves working in a dynamic environment with a patient ratio of 1:6.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico, with fingerprints required for all travelers.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
