This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

ROTATION - 12HR: 7A-7P / 7P-7A rotation. 36 and 48 hours per week available, with either 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join our team in the Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC). You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients across a 36-bed unit, ensuring their basic and complex health needs are met effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, monitoring patient status, and executing care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient-centered care strategies.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC software.
• Engage with families to provide education and support on patient care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med surg/tele.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
