Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8 hour Days, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Every third week/weekend on call.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care during complex diagnostic procedures in a fast-paced environment. The role involves ensuring patient safety, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting physicians throughout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for complex diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer sedation under established protocols.
• Assist physicians during interventional radiology, CT, and ultrasound procedures.
• Ensure a focus on patient safety throughout the entire process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology RN.
• 1 year of recent travel nursing experience required.
• Current RN license required.
• CPR, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with conscious sedation administration.
• Proficient in interventional and diagnostic procedural experience.
