Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Technologist

Schedule

This position offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There is also a rotating on-call coverage required during evenings and weekends.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work within the IR department, providing high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role involves performing a variety of interventional procedures under the direction of a radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angiography, embolization, and catheter placements.
• Monitor patient conditions and assist in maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
• Work collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Utilize the Epic charting system to document patient care and procedures accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) and Interventional Radiology (ARRT VI).
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Experience in a Level II or III trauma facility is preferred.
