Registered Nurse - PCU Nights

Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (18:30 - 07:00).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. The ideal candidate will have cardiovascular experience and the ability to manage complex patient needs. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and advanced support.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as appropriate.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Conduct patient education and support to enhance recovery.
• Manage critical care equipment and technology within the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care or similar unit; 1+ years may be considered.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS are required; CPI preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Cardiovascular experience is essential.
