PCU Registered Nurse - Night Shift - 3x12 Hours

Night shift from 18:30 to 07:00. Option of 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PCU Registered Nurse to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will have cardiovascular experience and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Assist with various procedures, including post-cardiac catheterizations and surgeries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred (will consider 1+ years).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience using Epic charting system is required.
• Cardiovascular experience is essential.
