Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate professional committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, maintaining a patient ratio of 4:1 typically.
• Perform triage, cardiac monitoring, and assist in procedural care as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment, including Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
• Implement patient safety protocols and uphold a high standard of care at all times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting.
• Must possess current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications prior to starting.
• NIHSS certification required before hiring; ENPC certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center or a comprehensive stroke center preferred.
