Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts will be on weekends from 18:30 to 07:00, following a 3x12-hour schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide care primarily for pediatric patients in the emergency department, with additional adult cases. The position requires floating between units as per departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and manage ventilators.
• Perform assessments and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure standardized care protocols.
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist license.
• ACLS and BLS certification required; NRP required.
• PALS certification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant respiratory therapy experience.
