Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may be variable, and travelers may be rotated to meet operational needs.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care for patients in a hospital setting, with the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED. The ideal candidate will hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact license and have recent medical/surgical telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor and manage telemetry for patients with various medical conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty.
• At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday.
