Registered Nurse (RN) - NOC Shift

NOC (19:00 – 07:30) - 3 × 12 hr shifts per week

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN will utilize the nursing process and work collaboratively with patients, their family members, professional peers, and other healthcare team members to individualize patient care. Additionally, the RN will direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with the standards of nursing practice, as well as administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs under physician guidance.
• Implement nursing interventions based on the nursing process.
• Collaborate with patients and healthcare teams for individualized care.
• Direct nursing support staff in delivering appropriate patient care.
• Adhere to standards of nursing practice and institutional policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in area of clinical specialty preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
