Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a night shift role in a busy hospital unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing general patient care and be able to perform basic patient assessments, wound care, tracheostomy, ostomy care, drain management, and monitor patients with potential dialysis or PCA pump needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside shift report and conduct safety checks every 1-2 hours.
• Administer medications and perform basic patient assessments.
• Manage post-operative care for patients, including care related to amputations, drains, chest tubes, oral surgeries, and wound vacs.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience in a critical care or high-acuity environment preferred.
• Ability to work weekends (4 shifts in a 4-week block) and float to different areas as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Dress Code

Scrubs in Navy, Blue, White, Black, Gray, or Ceil Blue colors are required.
