CVICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM, 4x12-hour shifts

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, working with critically ill patients and complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the CVICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions accurately and efficiently
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families regarding health care plans and procedures

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in CVICU
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State License in hand at the time of submission
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Travel nursing experience is accepted
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation
