Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cath Lab Tech

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4 × 10 hour shifts, total of 40 hours per week. On-call for Heart Alerts, STEMIs, and Vascular Emergencies on weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cath Lab Tech with experience in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional coronary/cath lab procedures, as well as structural heart and pulmonary thrombectomy procedures. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in operating a wide variety of diagnostic and interventional equipment including IVUS, OCT, Rotoblator, CSI, and Shockwave.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing and assisting in diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures.
• Managing structural heart and pulmonary thrombectomy procedures.
• Operating fluoroscopic equipment and a variety of diagnostic tools.
• Collaborating with medical staff to ensure quality patient care during procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile environment throughout procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• RCIS or ARRT with CI (Cardiac Interventional) or VI (Vascular Interventional) certifications.
