Imaging Specialist IV - MRI

Job Description

The Imaging Specialist IV MRI position is responsible for independently performing clinical diagnostic MRI exams in accordance with department protocols. This position requires ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification, along with two years of independent MRI experience. Familiarity with GE MRI systems and EPIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform clinical diagnostic MRI exams according to established protocols.
• Ensure high-quality imaging and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage operational needs including on-call responsibilities.

Schedule

This position will routinely work 4 ten-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. At least one on-call shift is required per week. Work schedules may vary based on staffing and operational needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Successful completion of an accredited MRI program with a certificate or associate degree.
• ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification required.
• One year of MRI technologist experience demonstrating the ability to perform clinical MRI and imaging procedures.
• BLS certification required within six months of employment.
• A current State of Hawaii license in any radiologic imaging modality is highly desired.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
