Shift: 18:30-07:00 (12-hour shifts) - Every other weekend and holiday rotations

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care to adults recovering from complex injuries and conditions. The nurse will be part of a specialized team aiming to enhance the health, function, and quality of life of our patients, primarily those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and major orthopedic injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with high acuity needs in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring responses and outcomes.
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Promote patient education and engage families in the rehabilitation process.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or other 24/7 care environment.
• Preferably have experience in medical-surgical or inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• BLS certification required.
