Registered Nurse - Orthopedic, Neuro, General, and Trauma

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:00. Required availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with block scheduling.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients in a Level II Trauma Center. Candidates must have experience in Orthopedic, Neuro, General, and Trauma nursing. Weekend shifts are mandatory, and the position does not require floating between units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a strong focus on orthopedics, neurology, general surgery, and trauma.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changing conditions effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred.
• Current RN License in hand.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
