Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Day Surgery and Preoperative Assessment Testing (PAT). The ideal candidate will possess experience with Meditech and demonstrate a skill set that includes IV starts and pediatric care. This role requires a professional who is flexible, friendly, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preoperative care to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform IV starts and monitoring in alignment with unit standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in surgical settings.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.
• Assist patients through the Preoperative and Postoperative experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Meditech and IV starts.
• Preferred experience in PreAdmit Testing and pediatric care.
