Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Handle pediatric cases as necessary.
• Utilize specialty equipment as part of patient care.
• Assist with emergency procedures, including trauma and cardiac arrest situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing, including pediatric care experience.
• Current New York RN license.
• Current AHA certification in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Documented travel experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR is required.
