Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) with pediatric experience to join our team. The ED RN will provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency department, and must be capable of handling high-stakes scenarios efficiently and compassionately.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as per facility policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to nursing protocols and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department.
• Experience with pediatric patients is required.
• Current NY RN License.
• AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• EMR experience with EPIC is required.
• Travel experience preferred.
