Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), Monday - Friday. No weekends or holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a pre/post unit for the Cath lab, EP lab, PV lab, and interventional radiology. Responsibilities include managing and monitoring patients with arterial and venous access, understanding hemostasis, and providing telemetry monitoring for patients as needed. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of patient care requirements following procedures in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and peripheral vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician's orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and manage arterial and venous access points.
• Prepare patients for and provide post-operative care following interventional procedures.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with charge RN experience required.
• Current RN license and healthcare provider certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
• Proficiency in the EPIC charting system.
