Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment standards. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of vascular imaging and be capable of managing a diverse patient caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interventional radiology procedures and ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
• Utilize imaging equipment effectively during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and prepare reports as required.
• Engage in on-call duties as scheduled, with a 30-minute response time to the hospital.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology with vascular expertise.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and Vascular Interventional Radiography.
• BLS certification.
• Valid Florida state license.
• Proficiency in procedures such as stents, ablations, angiograms, and biopsies.
