Nights (1900-0730), rotating weekends

Job Description

The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and patients requiring both emergent and elective surgeries. Registered Nurses in this unit provide the highest standards of professional care, supported by nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill surgical and medical patients
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as prescribed
• Ensure adherence to telemetry monitoring protocols for cardiac patients

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• Recent Epic experience is mandatory
• Orthopedic and Bariatric experience preferred
• Telemetry monitoring experience required

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
