Schedule

This position requires flexibility with shifts, working any 3 × 12 hour shifts for a total of 36 hours per week. Shifts may vary between 7 PM to 7 AM and 7 AM to 7 PM. Employees are expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the OB department will be responsible for providing care to patients, including female med-surg overflow patients as needed. This role requires the nurse to be within 15 minutes of the hospital when on call.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to obstetric patients and med-surg overflow patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience. Act 73 results are required for all staff, and it is highly recommended to begin the fingerprinting process upon acceptance of an offer.
