This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 5x8 hour shifts from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Options for 4x10s or 3x12s may be considered. Weekend shifts may be required on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Description

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) will perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols on various patient populations for physician interpretation. The role includes floating between the West Ashley and North Charleston locations, with some mobile MRI duties required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general MRI exams including advanced procedures such as elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
• Utilize equipment effectively, primarily Siemens, and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by the site supervisor or manager of radiology.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required; state license not necessary.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
