Floating MRI Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 5x8-hour shifts from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Alternative shifts of 4x10s or 3x12s may be considered. Weekend requirement includes Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, as needed.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations under the supervision of the radiology site supervisor. This position will involve working both as an In-House MRI Tech at the West Ashley location and as a Mobile MRI Tech at the North Charleston location, with travel to North Charleston 1 to 2 times per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize general MRI skills, including managing implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac MRI procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians for patient interpretation and follow necessary procedures.
• Provide quality patient care during imaging processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist is required.
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required; state license is not necessary.
• Radiation badge required, must be provided by the agency.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is required; knowledge of Sectra and Epic is preferred.
