MRI Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 5x8 hours (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM). Consideration for alternate shifts such as 4x10s or 3x12s may be available. Weekend requirement includes Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weeks scheduled to work Saturdays.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist performs high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging examinations according to established protocols for physician interpretation. The role involves handling a diverse range of patient populations and may include additional duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general MRI exams, including specialties such as elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging.
• Provide patient care by ensuring safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Work with specific MRI equipment, primarily Siemens units.
• Possibly float between locations as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years MRI experience is required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT are mandatory.
• A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency.
