Full-time, flexible 40 hours per week with 1-2 evenings until 7 PM.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist is responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that promote effective return to community activities. The role also includes serving as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers, while maintaining compliance with professional standards and the organizational Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Completes a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients and develops treatment plans focused on progressing patients towards discharge.
• Documents all care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participates in student programs as assigned, providing a positive learning environment for students.
• Actively pursues professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Adheres to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintains professional licensure in good standing.
• Implements organizational performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active licensure in the state where work will be performed.
