Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8.0 schedule with 40 hours per week, including 1-2 evenings until 7 PM.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to the needs, goals, and directions provided by physicians. This role involves the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services while ensuring the creation of functional treatment programs designed to facilitate an effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop treatment plans focused on progression towards discharge.
• Document care accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in a student program when assigned, providing a positive learning environment.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active applicable license for the state where work will be performed.
