Job Description

Join a dynamic ICU team at a small community hospital designated as Magnet. This facility provides high-quality care with an intensivist present 24/7. As a Travel RN in the ICU, you will be responsible for the care of critically ill patients, coordinating with a supportive staff and utilizing advanced equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load of 2:1 in standard ICU settings, adjusting as needed for step-down or high acuity patients.
• Perform advanced medical procedures including intubation and central line insertion.
• Administer complex medications including vasopressor IV drips and manage ventilator settings.
• Monitor and care for patients with sepsis and various critical care conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
