Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) with pediatric experience to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The ED Nurse will be responsible for assessing and treating patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics, and managing care for critical and traumatic cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including triage and stabilization of patients.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as per patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history.
• Participate in emergency response and critical care management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience in the Emergency Department, with some pediatric experience preferred.
• Current and active NY RN License.
• AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• Documented travel nursing experience preferred.
• Must meet travel criteria of 75 miles from the facility.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
