Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Night shift: 3x12.0 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is adhered to. The RN supervises LPNs, CNAs, and orientees and takes a proactive role in patient and employee safety while promoting a positive work environment in accordance with the Core Values of the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, forming the basis of individualized care plans.
• Identify patient and family education needs and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure effective delivery of patient care through the nursing process.
• Initiate discharge planning upon patient admission and communicate pertinent information regarding patient status effectively.
• Supervise and provide training to ancillary nursing personnel, prioritizing patient and staff safety.
• Contribute to a positive unit environment through team collaboration and calm direction during patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY) for applicable positions.
• Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.
