Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour days with an every other weekend and holiday commitment.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to expectant mothers and newborns. This role involves utilizing evidence-based practices to support breastfeeding and ensure the well-being of both mother and child during labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to laboring women and their newborns.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and postpartum periods.
• Educate mothers on breastfeeding and newborn care practices.
• Adhere to the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience.
• Massachusetts RN license must be uploaded with your profile.
• Active certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP are required.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.
