Registered Nurse - MedSurg Stepdown Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM; weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg Stepdown unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient health.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac strips accurately.
• Titrate drips as necessary in accordance with established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in MedSurg and/or Stepdown care preferred.
