Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Critical Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cardiac critical care, specifically in managing post-operative patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Monitor and manage patients with advanced cardiac technologies such as Impella and CRRT.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and respond to rapid response and code blue situations.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and medications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; CCRN certification is a plus.
• Experience in cardiac critical care, specifically post-operative care for patients 1 to 2 days post-op.
• Familiarity with critical care equipment including Impella and Hemosphere advance monitoring platform.
