Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and demonstrate strong teamwork and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced skills in ventilator/sedation management and medication titration.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 16-bed ICU with a patient ratio of 2:1.
• Manage ventilators and sedation protocols.
• Administer medication and perform titrations as needed.
• Participate in procedures such as trach placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion.
• Ensure effective communication with patients and families using AIDET principles.
• Complete communication boards and provide medication teaching to patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in critical care nursing with knowledge of ICU workflows.
