Registered Nurse - Acute Care (12 Hour Nights)

This is a 13-week contract position with 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our acute care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of conditions, including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, and urosepsis, among others. The RN will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, utilizing their skills in assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Titrate heparin drips based on APTT results
• Coordinate care with the charge RN and other team members
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience in acute care nursing is preferred
