Traveling Labor and Delivery RN

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shift with rotating weekends and call rotation. Typically, call rotation includes one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, subject to change.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Family Birth Place Team due to high volumes of anticipated births from May to July, with over 80 deliveries each month. This position involves caring for babies 32 weeks and older, and delivering couplet care across Labor & Delivery, OR, PACU, and postpartum settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns.
• Conduct assessments and manage the care of patients throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Effectively collaborate with a fun and dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
• Support the overall patient experience and advocate for patient-centered care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Colorado RN license or compact to practice in Colorado, in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NRP and STABLE certifications required.
• Must meet the radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
