Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 12 hours, 3 days a week. Must be willing to work on-call, weekends, and holidays. No block scheduling is available.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a high skill set rating, experience in a Level 1 Trauma center, and preferably have a background in burn treatment. You will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and other surgical staff during operations.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are accounted for before and after procedures.
• Handle surgical instruments with care and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and sterile environment throughout the surgical process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center is required.
• Prior travel experience is a must.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
• Burn experience is preferred.
