This is a 15-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 1830 to 0700 am, Three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), with no guarantee of hours.

Job Description

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide continuous airway management and support for ventilator and non-invasive ventilator patients. Your expertise will also encompass physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management and respiratory care for patients of all ages: adult, pediatric, and neonatal.
• Manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilator settings.
• Participate in physician consultations and emergency response protocols, including CPR.
• Utilize computerized charting and medication management systems to ensure accurate record-keeping and patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is preferred.
• Newborn Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory care is required; first assignments will not be considered.
