Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills and a comprehensive understanding of emergency care protocols. The role involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute STEMI protocol, Stroke protocol, and Conscious Sedation.
• Perform intubations, chest tube insertions, laceration repairs, and antivenom infusions.
• Participate in code blue emergencies and provide necessary interventions.
• Administer orthopaedic splinting as required.
• Utilize electronic medical record system Meditech Expanse for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 3+ years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Previous experience in a charge role is preferred.
• Friendly, honest, flexible, and capable of multi-tasking.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to work well with others.
