Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend work every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an ER setting, utilizing your expertise to manage acute medical situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and care to patients in the emergency room.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room setting.
• Active RN license in the state of Texas (temporary licenses not accepted).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
