06:45 AM - 07:15 PM, with every other weekend and on-call requirements as needed.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients before, during, and after childbirth. This role involves labor management, circulating cesarean sections, and providing care in OB triage.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Circulate during cesarean sections and assist in OB triage as needed.
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing through continuous assessment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding the childbirth process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Current RN license to practice in Texas.
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, and PALS.
