Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Emergency Department. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. Join a team known for its collaboration and commitment to patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting or Level II trauma center.
• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS; ENPC within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work flexibly within all sections of the Emergency Department.
