PCU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PCU Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will hold an active AK RN license and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a stepdown unit from ICU, catering to a diverse range of patient populations with various medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding discharge plans and care instructions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as part of the Co-Care/Virtual Nursing Model.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current AK RN license (must be in hand for auto offer).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with cardiac patients, telemonitoring, and advanced patient care is preferred.
