Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to the patient's needs and physician direction. The role demands the delegation and direction of therapy services for those assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration. This position also involves educating patients, families, students, and coworkers, as well as performing other professional duties associated with patient care and therapy service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care in a clear, concise, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing positive learning experiences with appropriate supervision.
• Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue ongoing education and training opportunities.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Demonstrate awareness of organizational performance improvement methodologies, contributing to enhanced service delivery.

Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule consisting of 40 hours per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Outpatient clinical experience ranging from 6 months to 1 year.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure in good standing.
