AM Shift: 08:00 – 17:00, 5 × 8 hr shifts per week, totaling 40 hours.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist is proficient in multiple modalities within radiology and performs various types of radiologic procedures following established protocols. Responsibilities include preparing, maintaining, and operating radiographic equipment safely while adhering to radiation safety guidelines, and producing quality radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist. The technologist contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that centers on the needs of patients, caregivers, and others, ensuring patient privacy, comfort, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with various radiologic procedures.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely.
• Follow appropriate radiation safety guidelines.
• Produce quality radiographs for a radiologist's interpretation.
• Provide care with consideration for age, race, gender, and cultural backgrounds.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• 3 years of relevant radiologic experience.
• Registered Technologist (R).
• Basic Life Support Certification.
