Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray and MRI

Schedule

This position requires rotational shifts including days, weekends, holidays, and midnights. The Saturday shift is from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while shifts at the hospital are from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-Ray and MRI at both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, obtaining necessary images, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct X-Ray imaging for both inpatient and outpatient areas.
• Perform MRI scans with a focus on non-contrast studies at the outpatient center.
• Maintain patient care standards and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.
• Document patient information and imaging studies accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred; facility transitioning to Epic.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
