Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, where you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of needs, including step-down and medical-surgical care. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team focused on patient recovery and overall health.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients, including assessing needs and delivering treatments.
• Perform procedures such as trach care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Utilize equipment such as lifts and cardiac drips as appropriate for patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience working with tracheostomy care.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Previous experience with EMR systems, particularly Cerner, is preferred.
